How to Play Block Dominoes
Lead the first tile: Each player is dealt a hand of dominoes. The opening tile starts the line — by default the highest double leads the first round; after that, the previous round's winner leads.
Match an open end: On your turn, play a tile whose number matches either open end of the line. The line grows from both ends.
Doubles: Doubles are laid crosswise on the line. With the spinner option on, the first double opens two extra ends so the line can branch four ways.
Pass when stuck: Can't match either end? You pass — there's no drawing in Block Dominoes. If everyone passes in a row, the round is blocked.
Score: When someone empties their hand (or the round blocks, lowest pips wins it), the winner scores the pips left in everyone else's hands. First to the target score takes the match.
